Especially the time when you want to be cool, the pimples come. Apparently, teenagers sprout red, weeping or festering pustules on their forehead, nose or chin and cause a bad mood in front of the bathroom mirror. Acne is one of the most common skin diseases, a majority of people are at least briefly affected in the course of life, usually – but not always – at puberty.
Acne does not only affect young teenager during puberty. Acne can occur with anyone at any age. Most experts announce that the diet has virtually no effect on acne. At the same time, they seem unaware of the direct link between gut health and acne. Therefore, acne medications are prescribed that can have harmful side effects – and in many cases do not even improve the acne.
In acne, however, there are holistic measures that not only help to alleviate the acne, but at the same time have only positive side effects.
Some people actually have skin that is prone to acne. However, being “susceptible” does not mean that the acne has to occur in any case with this type of skin, only that the acne occurs when certain triggering factors come together.
However, exactly these possible triggers can be influenced with special holistic measures and a conscious diet and lifestyle so that the acne just does NOT appear, even on “vulnerable” skin. In addition, so many people are completely getting rid of their acne without medication by having only practiced a certain diet and lifestyle.
Eating right helps against pimples: The teenage years are a torment for most, through pimples and blackheads, the adolescents feel disfigured. In search of the causes of acne, researchers are now interested in nutrition. Who observes some rules, that can curb skin disease.
Get Rid of Acne Naturally 2023/ 2024
What helps against acne? To successfully prevent or combat acne, the goal must always be the inner balance of the skin.
For example, if the symptoms of acne appear untreated, the disease spreads in the worst case. However, one’s own body is too weak to initiate self-healing measures. To successfully counteract acne disease, few and simple methods are sufficient.
Although acne is in most cases a disease that comes from within, topical natural care measures also contribute a great deal to the success of holistic acne therapy.
1# Face Steam Bath
How do I make facial steam? Simply heat 1 liter of water in a saucepan and place it on the dining table with a pad. Then lift your face covered with a towel for about 5-10 minutes over the warm but not too hot water vapor.
The heat will open your skin pores so that the sebum and clogged pores flow out through the condensation.
You can also go one-step further and add a few drops of chamomile. A chamomile steam bath has anti-inflammatory effects against pimples and acne.
With a mild and beautiful steam bath, your skin is ideally prepared for a subsequent facial mask. Once or twice, a week is enough.
2# Face Masks against Acne
Clarifying facemasks are an effective weapon against acne because they absorb excess fats and impurities. Very good are facial masks with a high content of bentonite or protein. It is not recommended to use alcoholic facial waters because they unnecessarily irritate and dry out the already affected skin.
It is important that it is not too fluid. Simply apply thickly to the affected areas of the skin and rinse again after at least 30 minutes. Make sure the mask does NOT dry on your skin.
3# Healing Earth for Acne
Healing earth is known as a good home remedy for pimples. But it also has a positive effect on the natural treatment of acne.
A healing clay mask, which is stirred together with cold water and three tablespoons in a bowl to form a viscous porridge, has proven particularly useful. You can then apply the facemask with a cotton pad. Make sure that the mouth and eye area are left out.
After the facemask has completely dried, you can wash it off with lukewarm water. You can use the healing clay mask once or twice a week to clarify the pores of your facial skin.
4# Natural Peels Against Acne
As a supplement to a natural facemask, regular peels can also help with impure, acne-prone skin. This gently removes dead skin cells from the skin surface.
Thus, the clogging of the pores is prevented and the formation of blackheads or pus pimples prevented. It is important that peels are not used too often because the skin needs its natural acid mantle to regenerate itself.
5# Tea tree oil for acne
Tea tree oil is one of the best natural remedies for acne. Because it also has an antibacterial, effect and can combat the acne bacteria in a natural way.
It is sufficient to dilute a drop of tea tree oil with a teaspoon of water and apply with a cotton swab or a pad to your skin.
6# Apple cider vinegar for acne
Another very good and natural acne remedy is apple cider vinegar. It also has an antibacterial effect, which is why I still recommend using it sparingly.
It relieves inflammation and helps to prevent blemished skin. A few drops of apple cider vinegar dipped in a cotton swab. Simply apply to the affected skin and ready.
7# Calendula essence helps with acne
A calendula tincture (also called calendula essence) promotes skin healing. It also protects your skin from suppurations, as is common in acne or pimple outbreaks. Best of all, it is very cost-effective and lasts forever.
I recommend you dilute the calendula tincture with water, because it is very concentrated and otherwise burns like hell. Put just a few drops in a glass of water, dip a cotton pad in it and dab off the affected areas.
However, acne has a completely different cause than pimples in many cases. Instead of taking zinc tablets for acne, I recommend eating zinc-rich foods. These include good seafood, organic beef, beans and limited wholegrain products.
